Patricia Pike is CEO and founder of CanAm Interventions. She is a Certified Intervention Professional, Addiction Specialist, and Educator with a mission to elevate the standard of care in the treatment for addiction and mental health disorders.
With over 25 years of on-site experience in behavioral health, Patricia specializes in alcoholism, substance abuse, addiction disorders and complex mental health challenges. She has conducted many successful interventions worldwide holding a citizenship both in the United States and Canada.
Patricia’s credentials include a master’s certification in addiction studies, licenses as a Licensed Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (LAADC) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-II), and recognition as an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the IC&RC (I.C.A.A.D.C). She is also a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP) through the Pennsylvania Certification Board, Canadian Certified Intervention Professional certification (CCIP) from Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation and holds an Adult Instructor Diploma (AID) from Simon Fraser University. As a committed board member of the Association of Intervention Specialists (AIS), Patricia actively contributes to advancing her field internally, sits on the membership committee board.

Rocky Montesano, RPT, IITAP, CSAT, MAT, CIP & CCIP, has over 20 years of experience facilitating spiritual and healing retreats, drawing on traditional Native teachings as well as Eastern and Western spirituality. Throughout my career, I have been deeply involved in aiding individuals in residential treatment centers and other recovery institutions. Mike Lloyd, CAC, RCP, CIP, was born and raised in Pennsylvania (go Eagles!) and now lives in Ocala, FL with his family—his beautiful wife, intelligent son, and precious daughter.
His passion for helping others began early on through his work with children on the Autism spectrum.
Currently, he assists individuals and their families dealing with trauma, addiction of all forms, and mental and behavioral health issues. In essence, he aids individuals, and often their families, in achieving recovery and optimal wellness.
His own recovery journey from substances began in June 2011. His extensive experience has become one of his most significant assets, enabling him to connect with a wide variety of clients and those in need. After earning a bachelor's degree in Psychology from West Chester University, he gained certifications as a Certified Addiction Counselor, Recovery Coach Professional, and Certified Intervention Professional. He specializes in training and development, crisis intervention, navigating complex family dynamics, mental health diagnoses, substance use disorders, diverse recovery pathways, intervention, and case management. Over the past two years, he has facilitated over a hundred individual and family interventions professionally. As a coach and companion, he prioritizes listening over speaking, meets each client (and their family) where they are, and consistently strives to empower the client. As an interventionist, he is trained in multiple intervention modalities, often favoring the invitational intervention model, while carefully selecting the method that offers the highest chance of success for each client. His consulting and coaching expertise as a seasoned interventionist is advantageous to clients and their families as they learn to alter unproductive patterns for their loved one or family.

With over two decades of experience, education, and research in the field of addiction, Don applies his passion by aiding individuals, families, and significant others in their journey to recovery.
Having personally witnessed the challenges that families and significant others endure when grappling with a loved one's addiction, Don dedicates himself to ensuring his clients receive the highest standard of care through assessment, education, advocacy, community resources, and professional ethics. Initially, Don's career pivot took him to Vancouver to support "at-risk youth." By meeting these young individuals where they were and providing compassion, empathy, and love, Don facilitated many positive life changes. After earning his diploma in Child and Youth Care Counselling from Douglas College, Don slightly altered his career trajectory. He spent over thirteen years at a renowned men's treatment center in the lower mainland.
Casey Gauer- San Francisco

Casey currently serves as a Counselor at a Residential Treatment Center in Marin County. With seven years of experience, he has supported adults with disabilities through Integrated Community Services, a work placement program. In this role, Casey has managed the program and provided case management for individual clients. He is a firm believer in the 12-step framework for recovery and as a guide for a fulfilling life. His background includes working with dual diagnosis clients and personal experiences with addiction and mental health. Marcia, a woman of mixed heritage, was born in the United States and has split her life between various U.S. cities and Vancouver, British Columbia. Her varied background has endowed her with a rich tapestry of life experiences, navigating through challenges like addiction, discrimination, financial instability, and familial generational trauma. These challenges have forged her mission to help others achieve validation, empowerment, and self-realization, fostering new, hopeful visions for their futures.
Marcia's academic path includes earning an Addictions Counseling Diploma, a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and specialized training in trauma-informed care and intervention techniques.
For the last 15 years, she has served in diverse environments such as residential treatment facilities, juvenile detention centers, detox units, safehouses, and shelters. In these capacities, she has delivered counseling and skill-building groups to adults, youths, and families, especially those grappling with addiction, mental health struggles, and intricate trauma.

CIP, CAPRC-I, is a dedicated professional in the field of mental health and addiction recovery. With a bachelor's degree in psychology from Hanover College, John's career initially began in executive recruiting, where he experienced significant success until a turning point led him to his true calling in the mental health sector.
John's recovery journey began in 2011, starting with seeking help, followed by volunteering at the treatment center that aided his recovery. His dedication and passion saw him rise to the roles of board member and employee, overseeing a sober living home with 60 residents. This hands-on experience highlighted the recurring challenges faced by families and individuals navigating addiction recovery, inspiring John to do more.
To address these challenges, John founded JA Recovery, aiming to be a trusted guide for individuals and families dealing with addiction. He is a Certified Intervention Specialist (CIP) through the Pennsylvania Certification Board and a Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach (CAPRC I) through ICAADA. Committed to continuous learning, John is actively pursuing additional certifications to further enhance his expertise.
Outside of his professional life, John enjoys a fulfilling personal life. He is married with two children and two dogs, cherishing time spent with his family. His hobbies include fly fishing and spending time at his family’s lake cottage in Southern Indiana. John aspires to integrate his passion for fishing into a therapeutic offering one day.

Melissa Boudreaux-Franklin, TN

Melissa is a professional and successful past business owner who developed a passion for helping those suffering from addiction in silence through her own recovery journey. She is a certified recovery specialist, a certified peer support specialist for substance use disorder in the state of Tn, completed Intervention 101 and 102 training through Arise and CanAM, along with Love First's clinical Intervention Training with Jeff and Debra Jay. She is a highly sought out advocate in the sober community and is heavily involved in helping high level executives create and execute an addiction plan. Melissa also has over 1000 hours of treatment center experience at Cirque Lodge in Sundance, UT and is the treasurer and chair of the Cirque Alumni Group. She resides with her 18 yr. old son, Luke in Franklin, TN
