Patricia M. Pike, also known as Patti, is the CEO of CanAm Interventions and a Certified Intervention and Addiction Specialist with over 25 years of experience in the field of behavioral health, specializing in addiction and alcoholism treatment.
Ms. Pike holds a master’s accredited certification in addiction studies and has conducted successful interventions both nationally and internationally. She is a Licensed Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (LAADC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-II), a member of the Canadian Addiction Counselors Certification Federation, an International Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the IC&RC (I.C.A.A.D.C), a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP) accredited by the Pennsylvania Certification Board, a Canada Certified Intervention Professional (CCIP), and possesses an Adult Instructor Diploma (AID) from Simon Fraser University.
Dedicated to supporting professionals in the fields of addiction and mental health, Ms. Pike has facilitated intervention trainings in Canada and the U.S., helping many to become certified intervention professionals. She is a board member of the Association of Intervention Specialist (AIS), where she advocates for elevated standards among professional interventionists. With dual citizenship in the U.S. and Canada, Patricia brings a unique professional perspective, implementing evidence-based best practices across both nations.
As the virtual emcee for CanAm Intervention Trainings, I, Sasha Antoun, am affectionately known as “air traffic control.” I strive to keep our events on schedule, ensuring everyone has sufficient time. It’s my pleasure to introduce our presenters and continuously monitor the live chat, addressing any arising questions to keep the presenter focused. I provide additional support for presenters, sponsors, or participants, guaranteeing the best experience for everyone.
Certified Addiction Counselor & Intervention Professional, Mr. Storti, lecturer, author, and international Intervention Specialist, developed and refined his special method of addictive disease intervention, the Storti Model of Intervention, 41 years ago. The Storti Model reflects the highest quality of service. Ed is an International and California Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor and Board Registered Interventionist.
He has choreographed thousands of interventions throughout the world. His authored books include Crisis Intervention: Acting Against Addiction (Crown Publishing Company, 1988) and Heart to Heart: The Honorable Approach to Motivational (Carlton Press, 1995, republished in 2001). Ed is also a contributing author of the book, Addiction Recovery Tools, Robert Holman Coombs, Editor, (published by Sage Publications, 2001).
Ed devotes much of his time to education on the disease of addiction and the process of intervening and is a passionate advocate of the heart-to-heart model. Ed is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2009 Spirit Award from the Gooden Center, Pasadena, California; the 2011 Pillar of the Community Recognition Award from Sierra Tucson Treatment Center, Tucson, Arizona; the 2013 Joseph L. Galleta, M.D., Spirit of Recovery Award from Hemet Valley Recovery Center and Sage Retreat, Hemet, California; the 2016 Ken Schonlau Award for Outstanding Contribution to Sobriety from Share Center, Culver City, California.
