At CanAm Interventions, we get an array of referrals that are mostly related to drug addictions or alcoholism.It is very rare anymore to facilitate an intervention or Case management case without having clients or family members with some type of complex trauma or mental health diagnosis.
At CanAm Interventions, we are trained to support persons with complex mental health and trauma related issues.
One of the important aspects to providing professional services to our clients is to facilitate an assessment, gaining information from a family members or persons that have pertinent details of drug and alcohol use, emotional and mental health state, behaviors patterns, work or school background, relationships status, history of violence, hospitalization, treatment episodes and current living situation.
In some cases, it may be essential to have other professionals involved such as; psychologist, psychiatrist, nurse, lawyers, Human Resources, recovery coaches, second chair interventionist, addiction Counselor, or mental health clinician.
